Riding for barbecue~ migas with Kate, Kiernan, and Kyah~ and Kiernan's 3rd birthday celebration

Ransom and I encounter unexpected ride partners on the way to Salt Lick for barbecue, and yes, Fred was using his telephoto lens.
Waiting for the barbecue to arrive, Fred takes photos, Ransom opens the wine, and I try to make the best of helmet hair.
Kiernan is still reading, whether the book has pictures or not...
...and Kyah seems to always wake up smiling!

Simple pleasures can mean just running around and around a tree...
....until you get too dizzy to run any more.
We always order migas at Las Fuentes, but Kiernan studies the menu anyway — a book by any other name is still a book.
Kyah's not ready for migas yet, but she seems intrigued by her surroundings ...

... and shares in the general interest when fresh chips arrive.
I get to enjoy a Ginky moment — better than migas.
Kiernan's birthday celebration features Margo, the recalcitrant donkey, providing rides for her...
...and her friend Kristen. The girls hold on tight while I set a record for holding my breath as I watch them go around.
