Kiernan and Kyah visit me at school one Saturday in December,...
....and we walk to the playground at the neighboring elementary school.
Kiernan's a climber, and she keeps on going...
...until dusk, when it's time to return to the classroom.

Kyah is a good sport through Kiernan's climbathon.
This is a really special visit because it's the first time...
...Kate has left her alone with anyone else!
Back in the classroom, Kiernan writes on a whiteboard until she fills it up.

Kiernan's true love, however, ... ...is books!
Kate returns in time to read, "In an old house in Paris all covered in vines..."
Then Kyah gets Mommy time.
